1. Identify the exact piece

2. Authenticate it properly
For eligible pieces, use Stone Island's official Certilogo process yourself. Do not treat an ART number, badge photo or screenshot from somebody else as a complete authentication result.

3. Check the fabric, not just the model name
Stone Island can use very different textiles across similar-looking jackets and overshirts. Nylon Metal, Membrana 3L TC, Soft Shell-R and David constructions have different surfaces and care needs.

4. Use garment measurements
Label sizes can fit differently between eras, silhouettes and fabric constructions. Compare pit-to-pit and shoulder-to-hem measurements with a garment you already own rather than assuming the letter size will fit identically.
